Chery Faira NN – Internal Crash Testing underway

The Chery Faira NN was first seen at the Shanghai Auto Show last year, and is planned to be Chery’s mid range of small car, somewhere between the tiny QQ range, but still smaller than the A-Series, but then possibly smaller than the Cloudwind series. Dont quite follow? Well neither do we.

Although the above Faira NN is slightly banged up, you can easily see how the Faira NN is going to look once full production has begun. The large sunroof looks to be a certain winner with buyers.

The C-NCAP carries out side impact tests at 50-51kph per hour according to the C-NCAP test site, and it is likely that Chery is building its cars to match this specification for the Chinese marketplace.

Launch dates of the Faira range have yet to be announced, but it is likely to be the end of the year.
