Peugeot Hoggar – Made in China, but do Peugeot know?

The Peugeot Hoggar was a pretty cool concept when it was first released by Peugeot, but sadly like all really cool concept cars it was just a proof of concept, a way to show that Peugeot still had the will to design cool new cars. The Hoggar was never to be, that is until a Chinese company discovered the Hoggar pictures on the internet and made their own:

You may be wondering what exactly is under the hood of this beast, and the answer is quite simple; its an 800CC Chery QQ engine delivery power to all four corners, and its mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox!

We’re not sure if Peugeot actually know about this car yet, but if they don’t, they soon will. The actual manufacturer is still unknown, possibly a small outfit named Yong Kang. CCT is researching!

Wow, chery, should end up being a cheap lil beast…looks like a lot of fun. Ash, please keep us up to date with any information on this and its availability!!

It probably couldn’t be plated, but I’d rock it post-business hours anyways.
