High end Geely spotted out and Geely dealership plans
Geely is undergoing a major restructuring process in 2009 to make it into a more of an international company, and thus taking it away from its roots as a small regional player.
The Geely GC-1, which was recently spotted out testing on the highway, is expected to be at the forefront of Geelys new high end branding, the actual brands name has yet to be anounced, but a logo has been set aside for the brand. The Chinese press commented that the rear end of the GC-1 shown looks rather similar to the current Toyota Camry.
Branding News:
The Geely Eagle brand will encompass the recently launched Geely Panda, as well as certain other upcoming models. The Eagle brand is expected to have over 150 stores in operation by the end of 2009, each being between 600 to 800sq meters, plus an additional 1000sq meters of workshop space dedicated to Eagle vehicles maintanence and repairs.
