BAW to launch six own models in 2010
The great thing about the Chinese auto industry, is its vast space. It seems like every few months there is a new brand, or a new player, entering the market. It seems like a giant vast automotive playground, and one that has not been quite so set back in recent months due to economic strangleholds.
BAW is set to redevelop their brand name, moving away from their status as a JV to Hyundai, and Mercedes and a producer of rather stale SUV’s and basic trucks. Their own line up was unveiled to a rather shocked (in a good way) audience last year, and BAW have plans to get the first six of their vehicles onto the market by 2010.
The first two sedans to go onto the market will be the BC801 and BC701, these will be followed by the rather beastly looking BAW B40 and B51 SUV’s, and also two hybrid models that are still in development.
We will keep you updated with BAW news.
