First of Geely GRAND models spotted

The Geely Grand EC718 has been spotted out, and in a rather odd brown color.

Both the hatch and sedan variants will be paired to 1.8l and 2.0l engines. The 1.8l engine is the 4G18N model that is using D-CVVT technology, and is an improvement over the Geely Yuanjing’s CVVT engine. Max power is 102kw at 6000rpm, torque is 175Nm between 3400 and 3600rpm.

This particular model is expected to go up against the Chery A3, and also the Lifan 620, and various other Chinese made compact sedans.

We believe that this model is set to be known as the Grand FE-2, previously it was known as the Geely FC3.
