Brilliance to launch FRV electric at Shanghai show

The Shanghai Show is set to be a show stopping event this year, with many automakers finally ‘coming of age’ and displaying cars that are capable of entering the international stage and taking on their more international counterparts.

Brilliance, despite their recent ADAC ‘failure’ of not getting a single star in the ‘crash test’ that ADAC ‘performed’ are still going for gold with a host of automotive launches at the Shanghai Auto Show next week.

Brilliance is set to launch the Brilliance FRV Crossover, which will strike at the MG3 SW, Polo Cross, and SX4 Crossovers in the Chinese market. We can see the FRV Crossover becoming the strongest of the bunch, due to its low price and bubbly looks

Brilliance plan to launch the following at the Shanghai Auto Show this year:

  • Brilliance BS6 mid size sedan – an updated version of their first car
  • FRV Hybrid – To be in production by 2011
  • LPG sedan – Possibly a BS4 but more likely to be a BS6
  • Hybrid concept based on BS4/BS6
  • An entirely new ‘A2′ mini sedan
  • New Jinbei van – the 6th generation – Brilliance are saying it will be more luxurious, and more focused to the business market.

As the reader can see, the Brilliance stand will be rather interesting this year.

GAINER OF 0 SCORE IN NCAP TEST:)

Kush, the BS4 gained zero stars under a German test that was designed to put the European public off buying Chinese cars.

Chinese cars are obviously a major threat to the German car industry whilst its on its knees, and what ADAC did during their test was nothing more than a shabby trick. Why test a car under alleged NCAP conditions, only to fail it for not having ESP and various other things.

ADAC are truly a terrible, despicable organisation only out to protect their own pocket by defending their protection racket. If Brilliance signed up with ADAC to offer ADAC services with every Brilliance sold in Europe than you can bet ADAC would be singing Brilliance’ praises across the EU.

Until money is involved, ADAC will continue to be a shower of shit.
