Wowsers – Greatwall Sports Sedan Concept
Greatwall said late last year that they plan to launch their first sedan in 2009, we’re not quite at the sedan producing stage quite yet, but Great Wall have this rather fantastic looking concept in store for automotive fans:
The concept, codenamed CHC011, is to be shown off by a proud GreatWall Motors (GWM) next week. From what we have learned so far, the concept will be carring a 3.0 V6 paired to a six speed automatic gearbox. Performance is not the only angle which GWM are looking at, safety is also paramount to GWM, and the car will be packed with 8 airbags, ESP, and ABS.
The CHC011 appears to have its own style, but does have styling clues from the Merc S-Class, the Jaguar XF, and maybe a hint of the Mondeo around the lights. Although to say the CHC011 is a clone would be a step too far, it does have its own distinct style, and shows that GWM are growing from being a maker of SUVs and trucks, into a ‘real’ car manufacturer with products that span several market segments.

OK: lights are too overstyled, and the front too. Has also to loses the Mazda-looking grille. Then it would look 10x nicer.
It has a CLS-esque look in the side view..

OMG, this thing is hideous, front end looks like an alien, the rear is plain stupid and, overall, the car rides way too high, has a stance of a SUV.
