MG6: We like it, very much.
Pictures of yet another MG6 have surfaced to the internet today, we wont be entirely sure which one is the real one until 20th April when MG will launch official pictures of the MG6, but in the meantime we’ll give this other MG6 pic an airing
Information about the MG6 is still slim on the ground, but we really do like this styling, it reminds us of the fastback coupes that Rover used to make, like the SD1. Now we could hope that the MG6 gets the 2.5V6 (we’d like the V8 treatment, but thats unlikely to happen) but what we could see is a 1.8T, perhaps something less, perhaps even a hybrid set up. Until Monday, when official comments come from MG themselves we can put speculate.

I really doubt the MG6 is anything but a hatchback version of the 550. There is no economic sense in making a stand alone model with the small volumes that MG has so far sold. Not for that matter that Roewe is doing well if you compare the sales with those of JVs.
Perhaps this picture is just an indication of some future direction. If so they seem to be heading in the right way.
