Geely iG – Fantastic
The Geely IG is Geely’s latest small car concept. The concept is perfect for inner city travel, and is obviously a segment that is clear for development. If Mercedes can launch the Smart range in China to target the high end of the ultra mini car market, then there is no reason why Geely cant target the low and mid range price segments.
The Geely IG is a fantastic looking car, and it might just be deserving of an electric drivetrain instead of a 4 cylinder motor to propel it around the packed city streets. This is the sort of cars that inner-city China needs, and we applaud Geely for being so forward thinking.

wow
I purchased Geely stock 3 years ago at $0.07/share after the GM CEO said some good things about them after the Detroit Auto Show. He said they’d be a good company in about 10 years. The stock rose, but not very high. With all the problems China has had with quality of their other products, I sold all 10,000 shared at $0.17. Less than one week later, the price rises to over $0.20 for the first time! Still a decent profit percentage-wise. I’ll keep watching. The stock is still cheap at $0.25/share, so I’ll probably jump back in.
What is it with these stock touting commentors lately? Are you trying to pass off a ‘hot tip’ so other people buy the stock and drive your investment up?
are u crazy? this stock is going to hit $1 before the end of 2009
when geely buys volvo and the news hits the front page the stock price will spike and continue to rise
Could you tell me the stock symbol you used to buy your Geely stock? I have seen GELYF and GELYY. Can you tell me what the advantages or disadvantages of GELYF kind would be? The GELYY seems to be selling at around $9 and the GELYF at about 48 cents. Is one an ADR and the other not? Is it ok if you own the one that is not an ADR? Thanks for any help.
