Roewe 550R5: R stands for RACE


The 550R is Roewe’s second shot at producing a sports sedan out of the Roewe 550. The previous incarnation was a failure, it was neither sporty, nor cool. The 550R at least improves on the original silver blob with a little bit more style, although the lower black skirting is superfluous to the overall design.

Now the question is, is this 550 actually named 550RS or 550R5?

    Aaaw, it looked better in the previous post linked above. Theres too much plastic again. Original it still looks best.

    The plastic on the back has to go, could always pop that off and replace it with a smoked black sheet of thin plate steel, that’d be much better…
