Automotive News is running an add saying that Green Automotive Company INC is now accepting applications for dealers in the US.
They are preparing to market this Zotye Electric SUV. I checked with their web site and found that it had links to CCT news articles. What is CCT's involvement with these people, if any?
The site is: www.usaelectricauto.com
There is one other line of electric vehicles advertising for dealers, but I have not determined who their partner is. They call their organization Des Moines EMC. Any clues about these people? They are marketing both a commercial and consumer version of a small SUV, and a small pickup.

Wow, wow, WOW - is this for real? 110kph top speed, 300km range.....only 110,000rmb??????????? If Zotye is really telling the truth about this (I'm somewhat skeptical of manufacturers claims about their EV's/hybrids until someone does a independent test) it is simply AMAZING. As far as places to plug it in, many apartment complexes (at least in Nanning) are already providing that service for electric bikes and motor scooters. It wouldn't be that big of a deal to provide some outlets in a specific section of a garage for electric cars either......and if you do a overnight "trickle charge" it won't overload the power grid. I could also see new apartment complexes advertising that feature to promote future sales......"we will have charging stations for your electric vehicle". I think we'll see this happening in the next year or two - which will help sales of EV's A LOT. Congrats Zotye.....let's hope this little SUV is everything you say it is.

Kudos to Zotye! It's on a roll...
But wasn't the Tianjin Qingyuan Happy Messenger the first pure electric vehicle on the Chinese market? I beleive the HM is the first Chinese pure electric vehicle on the US market (for restricted road use).
