Dear Haima: Im very sorry!
Now that the show is practically over, and I’m very far away from Shanghai, and more importantly Hainan Island where Haima are based, I feel that is high time I apologised.
The reasoning for my apology is quite simple, I pulled the door handle off your Haima M concept car. I say pulled, it sort of just came away in my hand when I foolishly attempted to open the door.
I couldnt immediatly see any Haima staff around to apologise to, so I put the handle on the roof of the car. Again, apologies all around. It looked like the handle would clip straight back on with a little bit of applied force, but I didnt really feel like doing much more damage to your lovely concept car.

LOL !!!!!
EPIC!!!!
hahahahaah
first sign that the car is just another deathtrap..!!
Ash, congratulations!!
don’t be sorry
you did a good service to all other people.
if the car is falling apart in the autoshow, imagine if it hits the streets…!!
What a piece of crap..LLOL
But nice logo
This care isn’t a production model right? I have pulled the handle off two different Volkswagons in the US and one Chevy Monte Carlo. I swear it was just to open the door normally.
oh come on folks, there is a difference between a prototype and a production one.
lol
I agree it’s kinda expected from a prototype/concept
but the poor thing is Chinese and that’s ironic
I just hope the final product is different, I saw alot of products of Haima ( production ones ) and they gave the same feeling of ” going off ”
I once nearly molested a Russian Lada at a showfloor, but you actually DID.
By the way: the car doesn’t LOOK too bad…
Ash, why didn’t you keep it as a souvenir???
oh my god this car looks identicle to the BYD e6!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ash, you should have held the door handle hostage. The pay off could have been a big one…..
