Dongfeng Nissan to build more cars together
Dongfeng Nissan have been on a roll for the past few years and have introduced a great range of cars that have given them a broad range of vehicles. Now Dongfeng Nissan are planning to plug the holes in their already expansive line up with a few more cars.
The current line up is as follows:
SUV:
- Nissan Qashqai (1.6l to 2.0L)
- Nissan X-Trail (2.0l to 2.5l)
Compacts:
- Nissan Tiida sedan and hatch (1.6l)
- Nissan Livina (1.6l)
- Nissan Livina Genesis 7 seater (1.8L)
- Nissan Bluebird (1.8l to 2.0l)
Larger sedan:
- Nissan Teana (2.0l to 3.5 V6)
In addition to the above, Nissan also plans to launch the following this year and in 2010:
- Nissan Micra/March – to fight its way into the ‘premium mini car market)
- Nissan Quest MPV – Imports have of this model have already ended.
- Nissan Fuga Large Sedan – Expected to go up against the Toyota Crown in the premium car segment.
The addition of the new cars is expected to give Nissan a further boost in the Chinese market place.
