Roewe 550 Hatch spy pics + Roewe N1 to use DSG gearbox

12 May 2009 6 Comments

News was released earlier today stating that the Roewe N1 will use a DSG gearbox once it is launched later this year. The DSG gearbox will be developed by BorgWarner in partnership with SAIC. As the Roewe 550 implemented the ‘digital system’ the N1 will implement ‘internet and informaton revolution’, as the 550 interior was rather splendid, its expected that the N1 will improve on the existing dash system.

The Roewe 550 Hatchback was also seen out testing recently, despite lacking the pizzaz that the MG6 had at the Auto Show, it still looks good and something to look forward to later this year. Will the fastback get the DSG as well?

I like big butts, but agree that the wheels look wimpy.

It is the same with the MG6, there also the wheels looked a bit too small compared to the car…..but for the rest I really like the design of both, the Roewe and the MG.I hope soon one of them will be on some autoshow in Europe, to be able to see it for real.

i believe that mg / roewe should think about bigger and powerful engines, as mg is a powerful worldwide brand, able to compete with europeans like bmw, audi, jaguar
