BYD F3 Sales up 143%

bydf31 300x173 BYD F3 Sales up 143%BYD sold an impressive 32,095 vehicles in April, of which 22,721 vehicles were BYD F3′s. The F3′s sales tally has seen an impressive increase of 143% over last Aprils sales.

High sales were credited to the short delivery time from purchase date (Chinese car delivery dates are often 3 weeks to 1 month after purchase), low sales tax, and a promotion that was carried out at the begining of April. BYD have added a new painting line to their factory, which has increased production times and ironed out a bottleneck in production.

Granted the F3 is a good selling model. But what’s really of interest, and essential to the future of BYD, is the sale of its F3DM and other alternate energy driven vehicles. The comment that I heard about the F3DM is that the electric motor is too noisy. Don’t know if this is common to all of them.

F3 is the best selling car among chinese brand,
but i think is also too dangerous for byd to only
depend on 1 model for most of its sale, maybe byd need
to speed up the launching of the F5 instead of MPV.
of course F3DM is the future for byd, but not now
