Rendered images of an MG6 sedan were leaked onto the internet late yesterday, showing what appears to be an MG6 merged with a BMW 3-Series tail.
The MG6 is likely to take the SAIC built 1.5 Turbo engine, and regular aspirated model under its hood.
Pictures of an MG6 sedan were shown before, both these and the ones below look nothing like the concept that was shown at the Shanghai Car Show.
CCT did recently manage to sneak a peak at the MG6 interior, and we can confirm that it is the Roewe 550 interior, in black. It looks very cool.

That doesn’t look like the 3-series.
Hmmm…..it look totaly different to the concept of the MG6 hatch that was shown, I know it’s a sedan, but the front is also totally different. It looks more like the normal Roewe 550. As for the tail it doesn’t look like a BMW 3 series, more like a 5 series, but also not exactly. It’s inspired by a 5 series, but still looks different luckily.
The Roewe 550 interior is also available in black! The MG is likely to be internally the same as the Roewe, at least from early indications.
The MG 6 launched at the Shanghai Motor Show shows MG moving with the times don’t change it so that it look like the Roewe.
MG need to look different, sporty, and be fun to drive that is the MG way. Even MG Rover got this right.
