BYD SUV – Fact, fiction, or some serious Photoshop work?

According to various websites, the below pictures show a future BYD SUV, but we can only a poor Photoshop effort:

Automotive website, PCauto.com.cn reports that the BYD SUV (codenamed S6) will be very well specified to gain consumers interest. Engines for the BYD S6 have not yet been announced, but it is expected that they will get 2.0-2.5l 4 cylinder engines, or possibly even BYD’s hybrid treatment.

We still think the photos look a little funny, but several websites are running with them, like they did with these BYD SUV renderings.

The dash photo makes my legs claustrophobic. Is this the size of a Zyote? Why is the leg well so small? I got into a friends Zyote last weekend. I could no get my leg behind the front seat to close the door. I had to scoot in sideways with my legs on other side of the car. My very short friend in the front seat was crammed against the dash already.

I’m not sure whether to write this off or not. The BYD Porche copy seems very much like a fake, this does not. First of all, its almost impossible to photoshop something from two different angles like we see in these photos. Secondly, it also includes an interior picture, unlike the alleged Porche copy Also, in the interior picture, we can clearly see the shadow of the steering wheel on the seat below it, most people would not take the time to make 3 fake photos, let alone make sure the barely visible shadow of the steering wheels are perfect.

I’m fairly confident that this is real. There was an article a few days ago that also mentioned this car, it all fits.

I think that’s the upcoming new Lifan SUV but they’ve put a BYD badge on it..

It is fake. Upon closer examination, if you look at the interior photo you can see the side mirrors are black….but they should be white.

Me, really like this car has a nice design does not look Chinese at all. If you could buy with us now, I would take it. And I think that the price will be more than good.
