Want a Camaro? Cant afford one?! – Convert your Cruze!

The Chevy Camaro is set to launch in China in the near future, and is rumored to be priced at an amazing 1.5 million RMB. Clearly GM is planning on bringing itself out of bankruptcy by selling Camaros in China at just over $200,000 USD (not bad, seeing as they are only $30,000USD in the USA…). One gentleman, who could not afford a Camaro, but could easily afford a Cruze decided it was high time he gave his Cruze some Camaro treatment:

It doesnot make sense to buy a USD200k Camaro.. person who knows Camaro in someway has linked to US … just parallel import the Unit from US even adding import duty and transport its still way to high to hit the USD200k.

I am not a fan of taking a Pontiac Fiero and making it look like a Ferrari or taking a Volkswagon bug and making it into a Porsche. What is the point. It is still the same car it was from the start.

is GM out of their minds? who in their right mind would buy a car thats normally sells for 1/8th the price in another country? 200k buys you just about any top rated car in the market today.

this is just what got GM into trouble in the first place, arrogance!
I am a fan of the camaro, I had a 1968, loved it. and considering buying the new 2010
(I am actually in China now). but at 200k, I could pay off my home, and buy top mercedes model.

sorry GM, its time to take your head out of your rearend!
