2010 Chang’an Ben Ben Spotted Out
The 2010 Chang’an Ben Ben is well under development, and has been spotted out testing. The Chang’an Ben Ben has offered stiff resistance to the march of the Chery QQ in 2007/8 but has suffered slightly in 2009 due to the launch of other super cheap, super cool super minis such as the BYD F0 and the Brilliance FRV.
2010 Chang’an Ben Ben:
The 2010 Ben Ben features a lighter, softer front end with a new nose and lower bumpers, the rear end also has softer rounder light sets which have given the Ben Ben a nice facelift and bottom tuck for 2010, but is it all a little too late for the once well selling mini car?
In 2007 50,000 Ben Ben’s were sold, in 2008, 40,000 Ben Ben’s were sold and in 2009 the Ben Ben has been averaging around 4000 units per month, the revised 2010 edition is likely to improve sales a great deal.

Chang’an needs to give Ben Ben a complete overhauled in terms of design in order for it to compete with other China makes. I don’t think that a minor nip tuck will help much in driving up sales.
Yeah they need to improve the quality of this car ASAP to be more competitive..
Chang’an did it right and got I.De.A to design the Benben. That made it unique among all the early clones of China’s makers. And its odd shape even caught the attention of the EV crowd in the U.S., Canada and even Europe. That means Benben may soon be plying the roads their too.
Granted, now some changes are in order. And yes boos, the quality is still wanting.
Nip Tuck is a unique TV Series just like House MD.,*’
