JAC He Rui MPV rolls off the production line today!

JAC have travelled a long road this year, they first gained success in the MPV market thanks to a shrewd partnership with Hyundai that saw various Hyundai MPV’s being built in China but the partnership ended and JAC carried on with their MPV task. JAC had the foresight to see that most of its MPV sales were to companies that were soon to be affected by the economic downturn and instead turned their hand to building small cars. Small car sales have surged on the back of Government tax breaks for small engined cars, JAC managed to launch its He Rui series of sedans and hatches in time to jump on the tax break wave, and is coming back to the market with its new He Rui MPV that launched today:

For this model, its clear that JAC have poured their limited car making experience with their plentiful MPV making experience to produce a great looking family MPV which has plenty of space. Pricing has not yet been announced but is likely to be between 80,000rmb and 100,000rmb.

The MPV measures 4550mm×1775mm×1660mm (LxWxH) and has a wheelbase of 2710mm. Engines for the He Rui MPV have not yet been announced yet, but is largely expected to be a 2.0l model.
