Chery M14 – will it ever launch?
The Chery M14 concept car was quite a desirable looking car, in say, 2006 when we first saw it. Three years later and whilst the M14 is still regularly seen being test driven around Wuhu (Chery’s home city) it doesnt seem any closer to arriving in dealerships.
The M14 is China’s first hard top cabriolet and was first shown to the crowds at the Beijing Auto Show in 2006, with rumors of a 2.0L Turbo engine finding its way into the FWD platform. But sometime in 2007, the M14 dissappeared from the radar and was replaced by the Chery A6CC concept car instead. Except the M14 was spotted last week yet again:
The M14′s exterior still looks fantastic, but that drab gray interior isn’t going to excite anyone anytime soon. Perhaps its better that the M14 gets shelved in favor of the A6CC anyway!

wow! the interior looks extremely dated, they should redesign the whole thing it looks to much like the beauty leopard (shudder convulsively): start from the scratch! The thing that i don’t understand is why did it take them so long to get this car into production, it’s been like 4 years! Even American car get a complete make over in like 3 to 4 years.
Beauty Leopard? This looks FANTASTIC compared to the Beauty Turd.
