Suzuki should be jealous? Are you kidding me, this is a ripoff of an old Scion Xa.

Yes, Suzuki SX4 might not be the best looking Crossover out there but at least it is original. I personally feel that in order to show the other party that you are doing a better job then them, your masterpiece has to be unique. The Florid is just another car “inspired” by the Toyota Ist. Copyrights issue aside, the car looks average on the whole.

I think it is ugly. I always thought it looked outdated as a Scion xa. Then they put the retro cheap trunk latch that looks like it is from the 70′s. It isn’t even close to be competition for the Suzuki. Chinese cars are only competition for Chinese cars.

wow, it looks great!! Definately better than the Suzuki SX4.

  5. avatar Head Honcho says:

If looks great means looks like crap I completely agree.

I like it! I must be in the minority :(

Maybe you haven’t been in the US to see it driving around as a cheap Scion xa for the fast what 4 years or more now. They made it look even cheaper than the Scion looked. Probably selling it for about the same price too.

Then that is obviously Toyota’s fault for not introducing the Scion brand into China.

Greatwall beat them to it buy the back door method and are enjoying the fruits of their xerox labor.

      Looks like a great car!

The back reminds me the nasty argentinian chevy agile, but it is incredibly fu**ing much better than O.O

    Congrats Greatwall

  9. avatar VV says:

Chinese car company tend to license older design from foreign car companies. So this is not a copy, just something Toyota license to Great Wall.

looks ok. Why not they make Auto? If there are looking
at foreign market also, they have to make Auto and also
    Asians will prefer Diesel

  11. avatar Manoja says:

Florid looks good. Why not they produce Automatic?
If they are looking at international market, they
have to produce Auto. Asians will prefer Diesel

  12. avatar Sanji says:

    Hi
    Produce Automatic

Ha un look laterale molto gradevole, mi piace il tetto piatto, da rivedere il frontale, dovrebbe essere più agressivo
