Chinese made Mitsubishi Lancer comes off the line

The Chinese made Lancer is the latest entry into the super competitive compact car segment, the first models rolled off the SouEast-Mitsubishi production line earlier this week:

The SouEast made Lancer will come in two flavors, a 1.8L and a 2.0L CVT and also a 5 speed manual for those who love to go clutch-gear-clutch-gear a 100 times in endless traffic jams. The 2.0l EX version sports paddle shift gears and a sun roof. Pricing has not yet been announced, but it is likely to be in the 120,000rmb to 180,000rmb range.

I really like this, I wonder what its final pricing will be, and will there be a sportback version?

The old Lancer was a terrible joke played by Mitsubishi.
