FAW-Mazda to launch three new cars in 2010
FAW-Mazda are planning to launch three new cars 2010, ranging from sedan to MPV’s.
FAW-Mazda are planning to introduce the sports version of the new Mazda6 model, and will also introduce the Mazda8 and the Mazda CX7 as locally produced vehicles.
FAW-Mazda still plan to keep the previous generation Mazda6 in production in China to cater to the consumer that wants relative luxury on a budget, and will also offer the new Mazda6 as a premium segment product.
The new Mazda6 sports sedan is expected to take on a small but growing premium sports sedan segment that has grown in China over recent months, competitors will include the recently launched Honda Spirra and Toyota Reiz.
By the end of 2010, FAW-Mazda’s line up will include sedans, premium sedans, SUV’s and MPV’s, giving them a fairly comprehensive line up in the PRC.
