Haima H2: The next generation Mazda Premacy
The Haima-Mazda relationship is beneficial to both parties, Mazda gets a suitable way to get rid of all of its ex-tech, and Haima get lots of new technology and help which they have poured into their own branded sedans. Haima have been doing particularly well recently, especially since the Mazda 323 became the Haima Family, then they launched the Haima3 sedan and hatch. The next vehicle to be launched is the Haima H2, otherwise known as the Next Generation Premacy.
In other markets the Premacy was overtaken by the Mazda5, but Haima have given the Premacy a make over for 2009/2010 with a more rounded rear end and a slight face lift. The Premacy was first launched in China in 2002 by Haima, and it has stood the test of time relatively well, the face lift should give it at least another two years in the Chinese market to make it a full decade on the production line. Engine power comes from Haima’s very own HA-VVT-1.6l engine mated to a 5 speed gearbox, and also 1.8 VVT mated to a CVT gearbox.
Pricing for the cheaper 1.6l version is expected to start at an amazing 90,000rmb.
