Nissan Micra/March to launch next year – maybe
Rumours of the Nissan Micra/March going into production in China have been on going for some years, with it being reported on China Car Times several times to date. Chinese automotive outlets are reporting that the Nissan Micra will be launched in the middle of 2010 and will be priced at a competitive 70,000rmb.
It’s expected that the Nissan Micra will be powered by a 1.4L engine and will also have the option of a 1.6l engine which will be taken from the Nissan Tiida (Versa) and Livina line up. The Micra will be another addition to the small car segment here in China, with it facing stiff competition from the likes of the Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, and the recently launched Ford Fiesta.
