BAW to put Saab 9-5 into production in China


According to media reports, BAIC the company which bought SAAB with the Swedish car maker Koenigsegg are planning to take the last generation Saab 9-5 and produce it here in China once the latest one has been launched in Europe around April next year.

Information on the production of the last generation Saab 9-5 is currently thin on the ground, but should it go ahead the 9-5 could be under BAIC’s own Beijing Auto Works brand, or it could be the start of a major expansion of Saab China.
