Guangzhou Auto’s Acumen brand spotted out

10 November 2009 5 Comments

When Guangzhou automobile took over Changfeng automobile this year, they inheritied Changfeng’s half finished R&D project into a sedan range, Guangzhou have decided to continue where Chanfeng left off and push their self designed sedan into production.

It’s not entirely clear what engine the Acumen sedan will be offering come launch time, but as next months Guangzhou Auto Show is in Guangzhou Auto’s very own backyard, we’re guessing the details will be released very soon. Chinese automotive media are referring to this as a Volvo S40 clone.

Sorry, Acumen is model name, not brand name. My wrong thinking.

It looks more like a Volvo S40 to me.
