Without a doubt, the Chery QQ is THE iconic Chinese car, it launched in 2003 and is still going strong in 2009 with sales over 10,000 units per month. The QQ3 has not changed at all since its launch, however 2010 is set to see a facelift model, shown left.
The front end seems to have undergone a massive change, but the side and rear look to be the same.
Power is expected to come from a 1.0L engine delivering 80Nm of torque to the front wheels.
Price wise, the QQ3 is still expected to be one of the cheapest model in the Chery line up and will probably retail in the 20,000rmb to 50,000rmb range. A firm launch date has not yet been announced, but you can expect this baby to be on show in Guangzhou this month.

Iconic Chinese car!!! Are you serious? Its not even Chinese!
I believe its iconic for everything that it represented, and what was going to happen from its conception.
The QQ gave birth to the clone era.
The problem with cloning is you don’t know what will happen to future generations. They might end up… hang on, it HAS ended up deformed and hideous!
To be fair to them, the car they cloned was never a looker in the first place. Despite the fact Ital Design created it, the Matiz has never been a looker.
Chinese?…Nooo.
Another Korean tribute..Yes, once maidens, now cars.
sureee. According to you, every thing’s Korean.
Wll as I think I may have mentioned before on this learned site – “you cant make honey out of dog shyte”
I think its old design looks better than this faceleft
once, twice, three time a laydeee..
