MG to show MG6…. and new MG logo at Guangzhou Auto Show

MG6 - The first MG in years

The MG6 is a CCT favorite, the first MG6 in nearly 6 years since the transition from British to Chinese ownership, plus it was designed in cooperation with British and Chinese design teams which still gives MG a British sporting heritage.

Nanjing MG is now under SAIC stewardship, which gave the MG brand yet another manager in its turbulent history and it is probably under SAIC management that MG will get to see another 100 years of history. SAIC are planning to show a production ready MG6 at this months Guangzhou Auto Show, and are also planning to show off a new MG logo.

What SAIC have in mind for the new MG logo is unclear, hopefully it will not undergo a massive change from what we have now.

The Guangzhou Auto show will see Roewe and MG in seperate halls rather than on a same stand as with this years Shanghai show.
