2010 Chang’an Ben Ben

22 November 2009 5 Comments

20110benben-mini-loveThe Chang’an Ben Ben was arguably the first interesting looking Chinese designed mini cars, whilst the others were either heavily inspired or just out right copied from other existing models. The Ben Ben has been quite a cash cow for Chang’an in the past few years since its launch, and probably will continue to be a great source of income for the company thanks to a radical redesign for 2010.

The Ben Ben will be now known as the Ben Ben Love and Ben Ben Mini, although CCT is not entirely sure if these will be two independent models or if they are just two options of the car.

More news as we get it!

Chang’an, along with Brilliance, gets the prize for pioneering auto design IPR in China. Now they need to work on the quality.
Hafei can help them with that.

I read, that the Ben Ben Mini is the new CV5 and the Ben Ben Love is allegedly the facelifted CV6.

A CV5 with 1.3 Liter engine and turbocharger would be great.

That’s clearly inspired by the Peugeot 107/Citroen C2.
