A sale to Geely will be a disaster for Volvo, they will not be taken seriously as a prestiege brand and will be systematically stripped of technology. Ford’s ownership has been disasterous and they should exit responsibly by findind a more compatible purchaser.

at least am safe with my japanese car… I doubt the day will come soon when a Jap company is bought out by the Chinese..

This is the only way that people will take Volvo seriously after the buyout.
