Chang’an MPV spotted testing

Chang’an have an impressive self designed line up, in fact, the majority of their sales do appear to come from their own developed vehicles whilst their JV sales with Mazda and Ford only account for a small amount of their total sales.

The latest vehicle from Chang’an appears to be a compact MPV that follows the same design language as the smaller 2010 Ben Ben mini car and is likely to launch in the first quarter of 2010 alongside the reinvented Ben Ben.

This new MPV is likely to counter JACs new MPV which has proved to be popular with consumers since its launch earlier this year.

Looks more like a four door compact wagon than an MPV.

  2. Are you sure this is not a product of the Chang’an-Suzuki JV? Suzuki is developing a MPV in India, the concept version will be displayed at next week’s Delhi Auto Expo.
