SouEast Motor to recall Mitsubishi Lancer


SouEast motor have only just launched the Lancer, but due to a fault with a bolt in certain CVT models they are initiating a recall to bring the cars back to the dealerships.

The Lancer first rolled off the production lines in September was available for sale in late December, previous Lancer models were once a popular model in China but soon found itself out of date compared to its JV rivals, thus SouEast relaunched the latest Lancer under Mitsubishi’s new China plan.

However, the recall only effects around 700 cars made between November 17th and December 15th of 2009.

    It seems they are serious about this name. I thought they would rethink it once they learned how abrasive it is to the ears of English speakers.
