Chevrolet Traverse coming to China?

Recent pictures of a Chevrolet Traverse body rendering complete with Chinese annotations have been leaked to the internet sparking rumors of the Traverse launching in China.

Cheverolet’s current SUV line up is made up of a sole Chevrolet Capitva which is imported from Korea and has sold reasonably well along the east coast of China. The introduction of the Traverse into China would give Chevrolet a wide range of vehicles from ultra cheap run arounds to mid size SUV’s. The Traverse platform is also shared with the ginormous Buick Enclave, which is currently imported into China and makes up a large segment of the luxury SUV market due to its low price when compared to other SUV’s of the same size such as the VW Toureg.
