Lamborghini to bring 8 new models to China
The Italian super car company are planning to bring 8 new cars into China in 2010 according to media reports. Lamborghini are lagging behind their traditional super car rivals Porsche and Ferrari, who have already begun to dominate the super car market in China unheeded. Lamborghini obviously plans to improve its Chinese business with the addition of Gallardo LP 550-2、Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni, Gallardo LP 570-4Superleggera, GallardoLP560-4Coupe, GallardoLP560-4 Spyder, Murci é lago LP650-4 Roadster, Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce and a special Chinese edition Murci é lago LP 670-4SuperVeloce.
Lamborghini currently have five dealerships in China (Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Hong Kong) and have two more planned for opening in Shenzhen and Xiamen.
In the first quarter of 2010 Lamborghini sold 38 cars in China, a considerable increase of 90% over 2009 sales, whilst Ferrari sold 68 vehicles in the same time frame and doubled its sales during the period. Lamborghini are reportedly aiming to achieve sales of 100 units sold in China during 2010.
