New Buick GL8 to get cute snob nose design

It appears that the design theme that first came with the ginarmous Buick Lacrosse is working its way down the Buick product line, and the next generation of GL8 will be getting the snub nosed wide grill design that Buick have become widely known for. In a yet another series of blurry pics, the GL8′s front end has been revealed for the first time without extensive camouflage or sticky tape.

The GL8 will launch later this year, although pricing and engines have not yet been announced. The new generation of GL8 is expected to be more luxurious and powerful than its predacessor so prices could well be in the 300,000rmb and rising price category. Engine power is expected to follow on from the Buick range of possibly a 2.0L (although unlikely) a 2.4L, a 2.0T and a 3.0L V6.
