FAW-VW to launch sports Bora with 1.4TSI and 7 speed DSG gearbox soon

The VW Bora has been on a roller coaster ride in the Chinese market since its original introduction in the Chinese market several years ago, the fourth generation Bora was later given a hatchback version which was actually the fourth generation Golf with a new set of bumpers. The latest generation of Bora, known as the New Bora to avoid any confusion, is based on the PQ34L platform and comes with 1.6L and 2.0L engines, and also the range topping 1.4TSI. The 1.4TSI has become the sports model and will be getting a sports bodykit later this year, the sports Bora was on show at the Beijing Auto Show earlier this year:
