Photoblog: 2011 Brilliance Wagon
The Brilliance Wagon never took to the market in a great way, the wagon market was identified as one of the niche markets that Brilliance could move into to fend off pressure in other segments, and other Chinese manufacturers had yet to hit the wagon segment. Brilliance brought out the first wagon in late 2008 but met with a very very lukewarm response with sales figures indicating that only a few dozen were sold this year making it one of the more rare cars in the market.
The 2011 variant seems to take all the boring and bland parts of the original Wagon and has thrown them out, the facelift is not only external it is happening on the inside with a vastly improved interior. Improvements have also happened in the cargo area with the Wagon getting levers to drop the rear seats on demand to improve cargo area and also small nets have been improved to keep your every day motoring nick-knacks from rolling all over the trunk. The wheels have also been swapped out for much cooler versions and also the whole body has been given a crossover look as with Volvo wagons. Engine power is unknown but expected to follow the same 1.8L, 2.0L and 1.8T flagship model as with the previous generation of Wagon.
- Brilliance – regained their Brilliance.
The Wagon is back, and this time its here to stay and hopefully sell. Prices will start as low as 100,000rmb and rise to 180,000rmb depending on specification.

This station wagon would have sold well 30 years ago. How about Brilliance teaming up with Subaru to make this a nice all wheel drive vehicle that could easily find a comfortable niche in the market.
