007 suv spy1 300x200 BAWs new SUV spotted out, looking harshBAW’s first self developed SUV in the past 40 years was spotted out testing recently, perhaps it was the harsh light or the low quality of the pictures, but it appears that this SUV really isn’t quite as nice as the concept car that came before it in Beijing.

According to information received, this SUV will be aimed squarely at the compact SUV segment and will use 2.0L and 2.4L engines.

      Yes, TJ Innova Engineering and Technology Co. was founded by Lei Yucheng and some of his professor colleagues at Shanghai’s Tongji University. It’s said that TJI has some 10 R&D centers and is capable of developing 30 new vehicles and 15 upgraded vehicles a year. Customers include Lifan, Dongfeng, Shanghai Maple, Changhe, Huachen, Baolong, Chang’an, Shanghai Huizhong, FAW, and Hawtai. Recent news has alluded to a business tie- up between TJI and renowned Yang Rong’s Hybrid Kinetic.
