China car sales up 27% in November


sales up 300x300 China car sales up 27% in NovemberSales of passenger cars in China reached a year high in November with a growth of 27% on November 2009′s sales, and reached 1.28 million units according to data from the China Passenger Car Association. Sales were also up 10.5% over October’s figures and are expected to continue to climb into December as the announcement of a cancellation of lower sales taxes for 1.6L vehicles kicks in on December 31st.

MPV sales saw a strong boost in sales with a grow of 50.9% in year on year comparison and 3.1% month to month and sold 41,600 units, sedan sales grew by 22% year on year 10.3% month to month and accounted for 888,900 cars on the road. SUV sales grew the fastest in November with an amazing 77.3% growth in year on year sales and 16% month to month, total SUV sales in November reached 130,000 units.
