GM’s plans for Guangzhou Auto Show

The Guangzhou Auto Show is just over a week away and with the show time being changed making it closer to Christmas, it seems that a lot of Western media will be avoiding the show. Not GM though, they have big plans for the show and have already come up with a theme of ‘Environmentally friendly, technology’ (it makes sense in Chinese) for which they plan to show the following cars:

• Buick Regal GS
• Chevrolet Spark
• Cadillac SLS 2.0T (Direct Injection model)
• Chevrolet Aveo
• Chevrolet Sail EV
• Buick GL8

GM is the strongest car maker in the Chinese market which has become central to ‘the new GM’s’ rebirth as a leaner, greener automaker, a policy that seems to be working so far.
