MG6 Sports model on display
At the opening day of the Guangzhou Auto Show we had a good look at the MG3, the MG6 sedan and of course this MG6 race spec model. It might not actually be a race ready model, but it certainly looks the part, in addition MG has already been romantically linked to the World Touring Car championships and the MG3 SW (aka the Streetwise) has already been taking part in rally races across China over the past few years earning quite a name for itself.

Is there any information about the specification changes to this ‘sports’ model? Engine? Transmission? Suspension? Brakes?
The interior was pretty sweet! Unsure about engines. MG PR devoid as per usual.

I think SAIC are actually going backwards when it comes to the PR area. They really don’t seeem to have a clue. BYD and Great Wall are much better.
CCT will confirm but I think it had Brembo brakes and that was about it. There didn’t appear to be anything special about it other than the bodykit and the TRD stickers on the doorhandles.
It looks pretty sporty though.
