Audi A8 breaks cover in China to an impressed audience

The Audi A8 had its Chinese launch in Guangzhou yesterday and left audiences impressed with the latest incarnation of the popular full size sedan. The A8 is imported into China from Germany and has found itself a niche market in the high end sedan market where the A8 is almost exclusively used as a chauffeured vehicle for wealthy executives.

The Audi A8 retails from around 850,000rmb to nearly 3 million RMB depending on the specification of the model. Interestingly, Mercedes top management were seen stalking the crowds at the Audi press launch.
