2011 Audi A6L launched in China
The 2012 Audi A6 may have only just been released at the North American International Auto Show, but for the Chinese market the A6 is getting a slight make over for 2011. The 2012 model is expected to launch towards the end of the year, although we might see it at the Shanghai Auto Show later this year. The 2011 A6L seems to have had minor changes to its front end, notably the front grill has gained round fog lamps and has also adopted a sporty quiver around the front lower lip.
Power plants remain plentiful for the A6 – as do gearbox choices; the base 2.0T will come with a 6 speed manual gearbox whilst 2.4L and 2.7TDI models will get the multitronic 7 speed CVT choice. 2.8FSI and 3.0TFSI models will get a six speed automatic box. Engine ranges are 2.0T, 2.4L 2.8FSI 3.0TFSI, 2.7TDI in total. Pricing ranges from 350,000rmb for the base model to 699,900rmb for the top of the range 3.0TFSI Quattro model.
Since the launch of the Audi A6L, it has managed to cement itself as a favorite of government ministers and business users across China, no doubt that the introduction of this model will also see its strong sales carried over into 2011.

I’m having trouble keeping up with the A6. I thought that the current revision (with the A4L-like tail-lights) was only a year or two old?
