Porsche cajun 300x200 Porsches Cajun to be made in ChinaThe forthcoming Porsche Cajun luxury crossover is likely to be based on the Audi Q5′s Quattro platform, and it just so happens that the Audi Q5 is already produced in China at FAW-Audi factory in Changchun in North East China. Porsche CEO Matthias Müller recently told the German Economics Magazine Forbes that Porsche will make the decision later this year if to build the car in China or not, Porsche are also contemplating building the car in North America, however there is no Q5 production happening anywhere in Canada or the USA.

Chinese consumers like to flout the fact that they have paid handsomely for an imported German vehicle, so perhaps Chinese buyer won’t warm upto the fact they have paid a lot for a Chinese made vehicle.
