Polo sedan spied out testing, to launch after Chinese new year

The Polo hatch has only just launched in China but Shanghai-VW are eager to follow the launch up with the sedan model. Although hatchbacks are gaining in popularity in the Chinese market, sedans are certainly here to stay with most hatchbacks coming with a sedan model to back them up, even the QQ3 hatch got itself the QQ6 sedan, the Mazda3 and Fiesta also come in sedan and hatch form.

A second quarter launch of the Polo Sedan is expected once it is shown off at the Shanghai Auto Show.
