Chevrolet Cruze hatch sighted in China

The Chevrolet Cruze hatch has been one of GM’s biggest hits in the Peoples Republic of China, the Cruze alone was responsible for a substantial number of sales in 2010 and will continue to be in 2011. GM are planning to launch the hatchback version of the Cruze in China later this year with it getting its first official airing at the Shanghai Auto Show later this year. The Cruze hatch will come with 1.6L, 1.8L and of course 1.6T trim, its major competitors are likely to be the VW Golf and the Ford Focus, although the Cruze will probably undercut them in price.
