Peugeot 508 spotted out testing

pug508sedan spy 300x211 Peugeot 508 spotted out testingThe soon to arrive Peugeot 508 will be the first big Peugeot to built in China since the collapse of the Guangzhou-Peugeot joint venture in the mid 90′s. Peugeot have since signed up with Dongfeng to produce their wares in the Chinese market and seem to be doing quite well with the 308 and 207 range, but the introduction of the 508 is likely to cause a stir in the mid size sedan segment.

The 508′s brother, the Citroen C5, is already in China and seems to be selling quite well for those that wish to have a decent sized sedan that is not a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry, so it seems that French elegance and flair is winning the mid size market over from Japanese blandness.
