This is the next generation Roewe 750

The Roewe 750 was the first car to be born from the ashes of MG-Rover after SAIC took over the blueprints and IPR for the Rover 75 whilst Nanjing Auto Corporation took over the MG-Rover factory in Longbridge, Nanjing Auto later launched the MG7 but it was all too late, the Roewe 750 had won the market. The Roewe 750 was a big volume seller when it first launched in 2.5 V6 and then later in 1.8T form, but sales fell away as the competition caught up with it. Due to SAIC’s close cooperation with GM they have won access to GM’s Epsilon II platform which will be the base for the new Roewe 750. Power for the next generation 750 is expected to be of a more demure kind with V6 blocks going out of fashion due to high gas prices, a lowly 1.8L to a 2.4L naturally aspirated model is more likely.

When do we expect to see this model on show? There is an outside chance that it will show its face at the Shanghai Auto Show in concept form, but its likely that we will have to wait until the Guangzhou Auto Show in November to see this vehicle in concept form.

Difficult to tell with the camoflague but initial impressions are that it looks reasonable if not a bit generic.
